I am excited to be serving a community I love. This is my twenty-sixth year in education and my first as Principal at Elkton School. I served as Assistant Principal last year, and as the Music Teacher before that.  I hold a Bachelors Degree in music from Tennessee Tech University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Tennessee State University. I look forward to many more years at Elkton School. 

I am truly thrilled to be the Assistant Principal of Elkton School. I have been a part of the Elkton family for the past 10 years as a math and science teacher. I started my teaching career over 15 years ago as a second grade teacher. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Martin Methodist College, which is now UT Southern, and my Master’s and Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University.  It's always been my hope to be a help and not a hindrance to our students.
