I was born and raised in Tennessee. I graduated college  from Athens State and continued to further my education at Middle Tennessee University receiving a Master's and an Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction. My teaching career began in Elkton.  I have taught at this school for 29 years.  I have a daughter that attended Elkton School and continued her education in Giles County before attending college.  I am currently working as an interventionist and the director of Leaps and Bounds at Elkton School.
