This is my 20th year as an educator, and I am blessed to be able to do what I love!  I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing in 2000.  I earned my Masters Degree in Secondary Education from the same university in 2009. My time at Elkton has been my favorite of my career, but I was a high school teacher for 14 years prior to moving here.  I loved teaching high school students too, and I was able to gain experience in teaching several different subjects over the years.  In my computer classes, I teach typing and Microsoft Word applications to grades 6-8.  For my younger students, I use a variety of internet resources to provide enrichment in reading and math. I also assign some beginner typing activities for grades 3-5.  Currently, I am working with 1st and 2nd grade students during RTI. In addition to my teaching duties, I am the school's webmaster and data team leader. 

In my spare time, I love training horses and dancing.  I also enjoy watching LSU Tigers Football. My husband and I live and work on a 50-acre farm in Elkton.
