Miss Jennifer Wilsford
My name is Jennifer Wilsford. I am proud to be your Elkton Library Media Specialist! I have always enjoyed reading and I love the opportunity to show all of our students that books can be fun.
This is my twenty-fourth year in education, all at Elkton. This is my sixth year in the library. Prior to that, I taught 3rd and 4th grade ELA for one year. Before that, I taught 3rd grade for 17 years. I also serve as the yearbook advisor and teacher leader for textbooks/curriculum materials here at Elkton.
I have spent my whole life in Giles County. I attended Minor Hill School and Giles County High School. I got my college education at Columbia State Community College and Athens State College (now Athens State University.) I earned my master’s degree in education from Cumberland University.
My favorite things are reading, crafting, shopping, and vacationing in the Smokies. I am an avid Tennessee Lady Vols basketball fan.
